If you just want your nails trimmed, a general overhaul or if you have an ingrowing nail, a fungal infection, verrucae, corns or callouses – then we can help you. We also offer a biomechanical service for patients with more mechanical gait related problems. These problems may present themselves as unexplained pain in any part of the foot, ankle or lower leg, often caused by pronation (rolling in) of the foot. This may cause the arch to drop, and the consequent misalignment of the leg can trigger acute pain in the ankle, lower leg, knee, hip or even the back. Our experienced podiatrist Carl Bicknell is highly skilled in this area and can prescribe orthotic devices to wear in your shoes to correct the problem.
